What happened a few hours after the new Moon in Aquarius was a fatal collision between a passenger aircraft and a military helicopter, In Washington DC.

The New Moon is the “dark moon”, when things are still hidden from view. If you stand outside at sunset on a new Moon, there is no Moon to see. It’s hidden by the Sun.

 Jupiter rules aircraft. This includes the people flying the aircraft, the passengers, air traffic controllers and those who work at airports. Jupiter in Mercury’s sign is debilitated, meaning it doesn’t feel at home in Gemini. It is weakened. It is not at its best. Gemini, the twins, always indicates those

things which directly affect people, as well as communications and travel. 

Take a look at the chart for the time of the collision, on the day of the New Moon.

We see that Jupiter is in the 9th house of air travel, or long distance travel and within orb of square to Saturn. Saturn is conjunct the Descendant. So this is a very serious incident.

We now know that all the passengers in the plane as well as the helicopter were killed in that mid-air collision.

Horrible Accident or a Planned Attack?

There are two possibilities here, and one is not clearer than the other, unfortunately.

Mercury is combust, meaning that something wasn’t taken into account, or not understood at the time. It is also conjunct Pluto, which can indicate a well hidden factor not realized by those flying one or both  of the aircraft. There is speculation that the two aircraft did not see each other, or that the helicopter was flying too high, or that the plane banked to adjust for runway landing just at the moment that the helicopter thought it was clear of the plane. We won’t know for a few months what the investigation reveals. Any of these theories may prove to be correct.

The worrisome part of this crash is that Saturn, Venus, Neptune and the Moon’s north node are all clustering together around the Descendant. A Venus-Neptune conjunction indicates a confusion of some kind, perhaps on the part of the air traffic controllers, or one of the pilots.

But it could also indicate a darker scenario, one which suggests that this was no accident. This is more so because Saturn and Venus are sort of collaborating with Mars in the 10th house by means of a trine aspect. Mars Rx, nearing its station –an attack - also rules the 8th of death – fatalities in both aircraft. Saturn is in the 6th house, indicating military personnel, meaning the helicopter occupants.

Mars is not at its best in Cancer, also debilitated and almost at its retrograde station. This can mean a weakened Mars, or even a vengeful Mars. The 7th house can all too often indicate enemies. Who are the enemies? They are signified by the Venus-Neptune conjunction in Pisces – perhaps a hidden group, or at least those well hidden in Neptune’s mists. This is underlined by the fact that Venus, the Ascendant and Midheaven for this event are all in the terms of Mars, the attacker.

They are also represented by Uranus in 9th – from far away, acting in coordination with or at the behest of those signified by the Venus/Neptune/North node, which are  sextile Uranus and trine the ASC – a successful attack by a mysterious, or well-hidden or unknown group?

Note that both the Ascendant and the Midheaven are in Mercury’s signs – Gemini and Virgo, so again, an incident that directly involves people. And because they are in the terms of Mars, it makes one wonder, or at least question if this wasn’t an attack, or a warning of some kind.

Either way, the results were devastating!

Other Plane crashes under the Jupiter station:

On January 31st, two days later, a medivac Learjet just taking off after refueling in Pennsylvania crashed, killing those on board and landing in a neighborhood where it caused casualties and damage.

On February 6th, a Cessna aircraft crashed in Alaska.  The plane's wreckage was found the next day, and all 10 occupants were found to have been killed.

On February 17th, a Delta connection flight from Minneapolis crashed, burned and overturned on the runway when landing at Toronto Pearson Airport. The flight had 80 people on board. Fortunately all the  passengers and crew survived, but 21 injuries were reported.
